More NRIs Consider a Return to India

A recent study of retirement planning among non-resident Indians suggest that we've arrived just in the nick of time!

Large numbers of Non-Resident Indians are looking seriously at returning to India as part of their retirement plans. That’s according to a recent survey by SBNRI, a financial tech platform that helps NRIs invest in their motherland.

Where once Indian residents thought it necessary to move to other countries to pursue their dreams, most of these expatriates are thinking differently as they consider where they want to live as they grow older. According to the survey, an eye-opening 75 percent of NRIs based in the United States, 70 percent in the United Kingdom and 80 percent in Australia and Singapore say they’re considering a return to India upon retirement.

Thanks to its robust manufacturing capabilities, financial services improvements, technological advancements and infrastructure development, India's growing economic stability has instilled greater confidence among NRIs about the country’s promising future.

We share that confidence, which is why we launched Priya Living Flower Valley and plan to open more communities in India in the coming months.
